1st of all ur comparing cars that are all in diff leagues, the aston martin db9 would kill a miata and slk. audi r8 has a lot of torque and hp but its a lot heavier then a db9 so the db9 would be faster,

so its DB9, R8,SLK ,Mx-5 miata

the only way a slk would come close to the db9 if it was the slk 55 amg

They are all good cars but the Mazda is the only one that is reliable enough to drive daily and be maintained by the non-wealthy.

I used to have an MX-5 with the heavy suspension and wider tires, six speed manual. It was hard to find roads with tight enough curves to break the rear end loose on. It was reliable and fun to drive. It got 30 mpg. It was a nice little convertible.

Speed? I had it up to 120 but not much over that. Too many police around.

How much more than that does anyone really need?
