My wife loves the B200 and we are thinking of leasing a 2007 model. Does anyone know what the current MB reliability record is? Have they improved at all in the last couple of years?

Yes reliability on the Benz line has improved over the last few years and it will keep improving now that Chrysler is somewhat out of the picture. Daimler can focus on the Mercedes line. The B200 is a great car. Lots of room and fun to drive and very reliable.

yes, the reliability is much higher then it was in 05. it still cant touch lexus, but its about comparable to american manufacturers.... i dont know a comparable uk/canada/irish etc company... but its still not very good. Personally, id wait a year to see what the sale of mb does to the company. You might get a much higher quality vehicle in 09 (2008s are already in production).
