My Ml320 is leaking puddles of oil I think from the top part of the engine, maybe the oil filter or something. 112,000 miles and very few problems until this major one. I have checked the filter and it is tight and all o rings are on. I can not tell where it is coming from.

This is what auto repair shops are for.

1) Could be leaking out of the oil pan drain plug (may not be tight or may be too tight and have been stripped) 2) Could be leaking out of the oil pan gasket 3) If from the top it could be leaking out of the headers 4) If you notice any smoke or the smell of burning oil than it could be leaking from the valve covers, may need no gaskets or bolts may be loose.
