i've a mercedes sl500 on an 53 reg and i really want it to look like the new shape sl. can the front end from the new shape fit on the old?

Now you really must have too much money on your hands.
It would be possible, but very expensive to do, and the newer shape is almost universally considered to be uglier than the old one.
