I mean shouldn't it be the other way around? Lexus has 4.0 V8 with 250 horsepower which is better than Mercedes 3.0 V6 with 228 horsepower. I'm kind of confused here O_o
So when it comes to speed the SC 400 is faster but the 2009 SLK is more luxurous I guess?

What's a small difference in horsepower got to do with anything unless they are race cars. The SLK overall is MUCH better, no doubt. Think about the luxury, handling, reliability etc involved.

The SC 400 is just a little bit faster than the SLK, but it's all about the year difference, the SLK has 2009 technology with all the luxury and stuff. When it comes to speed the SC 400 has it but when it comes to updates and luxury the SLK has that. The 1992 SC 400 was pretty much around the cost of how much the SLK is worth back in it's day.
