I have worked on cars forever and owned this Mercedes for years.
But I seemed to get stumped on the pack of gaskets that come with the filter. Does the largest o-ring gasket fit 1/2 from the cap in the last grove or is it designed to smash down when tightening the filter cap. It doesnt make sence to me either way.
