Its not working and there is a warning light on the dashboard SRS. l recently changed the timing chain and the problem developed thereafter.

check fuse and connection

check all the electrical connections in the engine compartment ( loose wires etc) sounds like you forgot to reconnect something

sounds like its just a fuse gone. did you try the fuse yet? the horn wasnt working in my car and i moved a fuse from a different thing to the horn one to see if that was the problem and it worked so maybe its the same problem for you. srs light can mean all sorts of things including a fuse is blown,the battery is drained too low,bad sensor,bad reverse light switch on the transmission,airbag unplugged,bad clockspring inside the steering wheel or the car was in an accident. hope this helps you
