Hi all,

I need advice as the techinicians here in Spain are not good. I own a 2001 A Class Automatic A160 L Mercedes (86.000Kms). It works beautifullly in the city.

When I am on the road and I need extra power to pass a car for instance (around 4500 revolutions) then 'Check Engine' light is turned on, the car looses power and when I reduce the speed the car starts shaking like crazy. I turn the car on and off and problem fades away. :confused:

I have taken it to the technical service without any results. The problem is only reproducible in the road, that why technicians cannot narrow down the problem...:(

Any ideas?.. advice?

Look Into your fuel filter could be dirty or blocked had exact -similer problem with my Golf fILTER WAS BLOCKED AND DAMAGED THE FUEL PUMP normal driving was ok only fast takeoff or manuvering was a problem as she was not getting enough presure and constant Fuel
