I want a mercedes CL which is powerful, so i was thinking of a 2000 model CL600 V12
however it produces only 367BHP and capable of 0 - 60 in 6.5 seconds, where as my other choice; a 2003 model CL55 V8 AMG which produce 500BHP and can do 0-60 in 4.8.

Now most people would say go with the cl 55 because it is more powerful and can go faster, however i would have some money left over if i bought the cl600 and thought that i could perhaps get it tuned and get turbos? I was wondering would it be worth getting the CL600 V12 engine and tuning it to make it go as fast or faster than the cl55? Or not bother and just get a cl55 AMG?
