I'm asking this question because of the new body style for the 2008 model. I know that there is usually a long gap between body style changes (I actually like them both equally at this point), but would it be worth it to spend the extra few thousands on the new body style or save the money and buy a low mileage used 2007 model?

Go with the 08 model what do you have to lose

If i was set on a C-class i would go with the new model and pray that it was more reliable than the last model. if i wasn't set on a C-class i would look at the BMW 3 series or Audi A4 both of which are MUCH more reliable than the C class Mercedes reliability has gone continuously down hill since the mid 90's

get the 07, and use the extra money on a good sound system

don't buy a used german car.
