I have a 2001 Mercedes Benz C320 with the premium bose sound system. I want to take out the factory radio and replace it with a clarion flip out tv. Does anyone know how i can take out the radio myself or where i can buy the special radio keys if there are any to remove the radio.
It really wasn't that easy as you made it seem but thanks so much for giving me the time and answer my question. I actually had to take apart the whole center console. it was very tricky and also thank God It wasn't a Fiber optic Cable in the back.

That might be much more of a pain in the ass then you think it is. Most of those factory systems that have the premium sound use fiber optics for the amp and if you want to have sound I think they have made an adapter but it's $$! As far as the radio goes, there should be one of three things:

small vertical (if vertical then on the left and right sides) or horizontal ( if horizontal then on the top of the radio) which you need any flat keys to get out. Use Pioneer keys for the easiest ones. When you use these keys MAKE SURE TO LISTEN FOR THE CLICKING NOISE IF YOU PUSH THE KEYS IN TOO FAR, THEY WILL NOT UNLOCK! Try just releasing one side first by using the key and pulling on the stereo on that side, then pushing the other key in and the radio will pop out. Most of the time you will get a set of these keys with your new deck in the box or you can go to pretty much any install bay and they will give or sell you a set for a few bucks. The other thing they sometimes use is a small allen key. These will be on the top of the radio (both sides) under a small square piece which can just be popped off with a small pick or something. Just unscrew these pieces and they will release the sides of the radio to pop out. Good luck I hope this helps.
