I need to replace the stalk on the steering column that does the wiper, indicators and beam. To get to it, I need to remove the airbag on the steering wheel. Can anyone tell me how to do this safely? eg. is it attached by clips so that I could just pull it off?
yes, it is definately an airbag or SRS (Safety Restraint System) as mercedes calls it.
