I have unlocked my car, turned the alarm off and it's still going off about every 10 minutes. Does anyone know how I can fix this? My neighbors are going to kill me, but there's nothing I can do until the morning. Is there an easy way I make it stop? Keep in mind that I'm a girl with not much car savvyness..... Thank you!!!
Also, I just tried locking and unlocking the driver side door with my key. It stopped it for a second, but it just came back on again.

Oh my god, how weird. Mine started doing the same thing tonight, and I have NO idea why. (Mine's a CLK55.)

Here's the only way SO FAR, and I can't tell if it's going to come back.

unlock the car with the remote, put the key in the ignition, and push the switch on the dash that has the little car with the tow hook. The "off" light will come on for a second on that switch.

DO NOT relock the car with the remote. Use the mechanical key if you have to lock the doors.

That's how I got mine to stop. Tomorrow I'm taking it to a mercedes service center (NOT the dealer.)

Update: I've been reading a lot, a lot of people blame the siren which gets corroded, and needs replacing. Someone also said that the siren has an internal battery that can die as well. I'll let you know if I figure out what's going on.
