I have been looking for a car to buy and Ive really fallen in love with the slk230. And since im young and this is the only time i will probably get to enjoy a 2-seater before i start a family i think this will be a good choice for me.

i was just wondering for those who have experience how are these in the long run? I mean buying a car made in 2000 now would be 8 years old. I dont want to have to buy a car and end up repairing and fixing more than driving. So just wondering if this is a reliable/ good car?? lol please do not recommend a different car i should buy, i just want to know if this car will break down on me considering how old it is. THANKS!!

They are good cars and eventually it will break down one day since it's an old car. Also repairs can be very costly when needed so I hope you have a nice income.

Mercedes Benz are as pricey as what they offer and the quality which they are built. In my opinion any Mercedes is reliable depending on how well it has been kept. I suggest you take it for an examination and you will probably face some repairngs but the car is most likely to be in a great shape just knowing is a Merc. You may want to see a documental made by Fifth Gear about Mercedes Benz. In this case is a E Klass Station Wagon. But they are all built by the same name. It has 4 Parts but i suggest you take a look at it!! It may help you a lot with your purchase.

Mercedes are built really good.. but once they start falling apart, the parts will be very expensive.
