I have a 1978 mercedes benz that I thought was a 380SL with a 6 cylinder. My friend just told me that 1978 didn't have 380 SL that year and that it was a 280SL. I was wondering if anyone that knows these cars what it really is because the emblem on the trunk says 380SL but it has a 6 cylinder, and it came with a 380 SL owners manual. Which one is it? If anyone knows could you please help me? Thank you in advance.
