How many out there would drive a new SLK 550 Roadster barefoot or in flip flops if you had a chance. My friend loan me his car that is why I'm asking this question.

I drive my SLK55 Roadster semi nude(shorts, sunglasses, visor only). What would be the difference. The flip flops may impede you a bit, and the leather gets pretty warm in the sun, so you may need a towel. The air scarves and heated seats work great for the keeping you warm in the winter but no one has a device to cool the seats down on a roadster in the summer.
