want to buy one of there two? i personaly like the s550 4matic (all wheel drive)

Audi is nice and less flashy but has great speed and handeling, also it has a lower maintenance cost over th elong run. Audi is one of the better handeling cars out there.

the Mercedes,more bang for the buck

go with the s550 those things r awesome. Ive seen a few audi A8' and there nothin to special.

It depends on what you are looking for. The Mercedes 2007 s550 is a nice car and so is the s8. The s8 is cost considerably more than the s550. The more comparable car would be the s600.

The s600 is equipped with a v12 turbo motor with 510hp and 612lbs of torque.

The S8 on the other hand is a v10 motor with 450hp and 400lbs of torque.

On the other hand the s600 weighs 600lbs more than the S8. So the weight to horsepower ratio even out. The major diifference is that the S8 is All Wheel Drive.

Since you like the 4matic I recommend that you go with the S8 is you are into All Wheel Drive cars.

MB is way better than any audi or the likes... 4matic is great too!!

I like Mercedes, hands down, but I would not go with an S550-class, it's a bit to big for me. I prefer the SL55
