One of my relatives wants an S-Class but can't afford the S550. In the US market, will they make a lower range car say like an S350 or something?

That's a big car to use such a small engine so I doubt it unless its a diesel. MB is a luxury car and people that buy them demand the things that come with it like fancy electronics, fancy interior, and a powerful engine.
