Are there good solutions to connect iPod to 1998 Mercedes-Benz ML320?

I have tired a Belkin cassette adapter. However, my Bose System rejected the cassette adapter immediately. Note that (1) I can listen to a regular cassette on my ML320. (2) I can use the adapter in another car. Therefore, I believe it is the incompatibility between my Bose System and the Belkin cassette adapter.

Any other suggestions?

may try a different brand of adapter. i had this problem with a vehicle myself. it was just an inferior brand of adapter. a new one fixed the problem. if that dont work, you can get an FM transmitter at Radio Shack or Best Buy. i have one in my drawer at home, just in case i ever need that. works pretty good

I have a monster brand FM transmitter/modulator that plugs into the cigarrette lighter outlet.
It's ok - but strong radio station create interference somtimes.

its benifits include keeping the ipod fully charged
three programable presets
plugs into the bottom of the ipod
$80 price tag

go to bestbuy or circuit city and check out the harmon kardon ipod drive + play kit. You should get it professionally installed but it actually runs off an fm direct modulator. For example if you set it 88.3 it takes that channel and blocks out all incoming signals so that only the one of the modulator gets in. This differs from other modulators because they come in with the other signals, they cant block it out. The kit takes the factory antenna and plugs into a box that runs another antenna wire out that goes into your radio then wires into your ipod. These kits work good. By the way i am an installer at circuit city.

Run a cable straight to your battery.
