What do you think of it? I love it but do you?

It's a great classic, but certainly not a sports car. The dealership I worked briefly for has one on display. Right next to their McLaren. It's worth tons of money, but it isn't really that fast (Had a few oppurtunities to drive it).

Best sports car? I forget thename, but a 1969 Ferrari.

I've always liked the 300 SL since they came out in 1955. I'm sure if I have one I'd learn to side on the door seal and swing myself into the car!

Yes, the 300 SL Gullwing was certainly a classic sports car. Consider also that the 300 SL was earlier than some of the competition. I kinda liked several of the Ferrari cars from Modena, like the 1967 275 GTB-4 and the famous aluminum bodied 1963 250 GTO which was much faster than the 300 SL Gullwing. Later came the super Bugatti and the Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer. Yeah, love 'em all, but doubtful that any are available at any price.
